Personal Background

As a native Marylander, I know just about every corner of the “Old Line State.” From the mountains of western Maryland, to the beaches of the eastern shore, and I’ve probably been to every ‘burg’ and ‘ville’ in between. Since growing up within site of our nation’s capital, I’ve resided in Central Maryland for the past 30 years. The last 20 years have been spent putting down strong roots in Carroll County. With sons in college, I know how hectic today’s family life can be at times. For relaxation I enjoy volunteering at the local high school’s drama dept, having been an active member of the Drama Boosters for many years.

Having owned a business for many years, I know the importance of exceeding my client’s expectations. Todays real estate consumers have many choices available as to who should represent them. Professional Background

Having been raised in a home with an award-winning flower gardens, destiny created a life for me, making peoples yards the best that they could be. I’ve spent 25 years working in the Horticultural field, from growing and selling Christmas trees to running a wholesale flower shop. In addition, for over a decade, I managed large garden centers helping people find just the right plant or service for their yard. I then moved into managing sales and installation of high-end landscapes, turning each average built home and yard into its’ own unique, glorious, lush oasis. This is where I received my first taste of the Real Estate business and learned the importance of curb appeal.
Before becoming a real-estate agent, my last occupation in the Horticultural field, I owned and operated my own landscape company concentrating on the maintenance of existing landscapes. For over ten years, I worked extensively with Real Estate professionals ‘staging’ homes to get them ready to sell. In today’s real estate market, ‘staging’ and curb appeal are so important you need a professional agent who has such a background in this area.
